Archiving and Preservation Policy
There should never be the disappearance of academic research with time. We abide by the Revue des Sciences Sociales Human Society Dynamics, which considers each given article as a long-term contribution to scholarly knowledge. We archive and preserve research to guarantee future access and reliability of the research processes that are intended to serve the research purposes long after years have passed.
1. Secure Digital Storage
Any articles as well as entire issues of journals, are retained in safe digital copies. The backups are done regularly to protect content against:
- Technical failures
- Data loss
- System errors
- Hacking or erasing.
This will guarantee that no article can be lost in our digital records.
2. Long-Term Access Commitment
We believe in ensuring the constant availability of published research. Existing published content will always be accessible and referable even when it comes to a redesign of the site, upgrades to the server or a migration of the platform.
We take the protection of the scholarly record as our first priority and have to make sure that the work of authors should not become obscure and unreachable to the rest of the international academic community.
3. Preservation of Academic Integrity
When an article is published, it is incorporated into the permanent archive of the journal. We do not make changes on published material without due process. In case corrections, updates or retractions are required, they are managed in a transparent and well-documented manner to ensure trust and academic integrity.
4. Author Archiving Rights
The authors are urged to disseminate and store their published articles on the institutional repositories, academic networks or personal research profiles, but with proper recognition of the journal. This also helps in preserving research and broadening research dissemination in the long run.
In this organized archiving system, Revue des Sciences Sociales: Human Society Dynamics, the valuable research in social sciences is secured, available and maintained as the lasting academic record.
