Peer Review Process
In Revue des Sciences Sociales: Human Society Dynamics, peer review is more of a process than a procedure - a form of academic conversation. We have designed our process in a way that is more than just fair, academic, and constructive feedback that actually assists authors in improving their work.
How the Process Works
Step 1: Submission Check
All the manuscripts are initially checked by the editorial team. We ensure that:
- The topic aligns with the journal’s aim and scope.
- The paper is written in a proper way.
- Ethical principles are observed.
- The article passes the plagiarism and originality test.
Only those papers, which pass these preliminary requirements proceed.
Step 2: Double Blind Assessment
Our peer review is a double-blind system, i.e.:
- The identity of the author(s) is unknown to the reviewers.
- The reviewers are not aware of the authors.
This provides objectivity and an objective academic evaluation.
Step 3: Expert Review
The paper is submitted to professional scholars in the same field. Reviewers take a critical look at:
- Academic originality and contribution.
- Transparency of research purpose.
- Soundness of methodology or theoretical approach.
- Depth of analysis and discussion.
- Reference quality and academic honesty.
Critics leave comments in detail and recommend them on how to improve it.
Step 4: Decision and Revisions
According to the feedback of reviewers, the editorial board makes one of the following decisions:
- ✔ Accept
- ✔ Accept with Minor Revisions
- ✔ Major Revisions Required
- ✖ Reject
Authors have the proper time to revise and respond to the reviewer comments as needed.
Step 5: Publication Final Approval
Once the revisions have been checked and accepted, the manuscript is sent for final editing and publication in the next issue.
Our Commitment
Our goal is to accomplish the review process in a manner that would be highly academic. Courtesy, openness, and academic honesty are promoted during the process.
Peer review is a collaboration, a collaboration that enhances the work of research and helps the development of knowledge in social sciences at Revue des Sciences Sociales: Human Society Dynamics.
